What is it all about?
Throughout this 5-day taster experience, you will learn how to make dried pasta and sauces such as lasagne, macaroni, fettuccine pesto, and penne carbonara. This course is both practical and theory-based and is a great introduction to tertiary study in the cookery industry. You will gain the skills and knowledge you need to safely prepare and serve food, as well as identify food contamination risks and management techniques.
What to bring/wear?
You will be working in our trainee commercial kitchens and will need to:
- Wear long pants,
- have covered-in shoes,
- have hair tied back, and
- have no facial jewellery or other jewellery on.
