Outdoor Experience (Level 2)
About the programme
The Outdoor Experience Level 2 course encompasses a variety of outdoor recreation and industry credits, achieved both onsite at Wintec Rotokauri Campus and in the field within an hour of campus. Students will complete a 32-week programme and participate in activities like canoeing, hiking, navigation, rock climbing and abseiling. Students will also learn about the weather, team building, life skills, first aid, kaitiakitanga, risk management and adventure tourism.
